June Marie Schreiner, 97, of Nampa, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in a Nampa care facility. June was born on March 19, 1919 in Great Falls, Montana. She grew up and attended school in Montana. In 1942 she moved to Portland, Oregon to work for the St. Vincents Hospital. On September 12, 1944, she married Norbert "Bert" Schreiner who was serving in the armed forces. In 1945 they moved to Nampa, Idaho where they remained until death. Bert passed away in June of 1990. June was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America, the D.A.V Auxiliary and the Catholic Relief Society. She is survived by: two daughters, Joyce M. (Ronald) Goodman of Meridian and Janice Ann (Kenneth L.) Holt of Nampa; Six Grandchildren, Tami (Darrin) Hovde, Jeff (Monty) Goodman, Christy (Patrick) McCabe, Greg (Laree) Goodman, Mark (Renee) Holt and Rachel Schuler; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 10:00 A.M on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
