Katherine Louise Davidson, 73, of Nampa, Idaho, passed through the River into Glory on October 5th, 2014 after a short, intense battle with brain cancer. Born Katherine Donovan of Venice, California, she grew up 2 blocks from the beach and reveled in being barefoot in the sand. She is now waiting on the other side for her high school sweetheart and husband of 55 years, Dennis P. Davidson. Quietly giving hands-on help and wise words of encouragement throughout her life, in partnership with Dennis, has made Kathy a dear friend to many people. The joy and love of Jesus Christ which she put into action in all her relationships has well-prepared their 4 children (Laura, Timothy, Michael, and Alice) and 19 grandchildren to be comforted during this time. Her brother, David Donovan ., and sister Marian Morgan, also look forward to seeing her where all things are made new. Kathy was truly faithful in the daily little things that require both humility and diligence and yet are crucial to caring for others, while still exhibiting a thorough zest for living her own life. The family will have a time of private remembrance at the graveside, followed by a celebration party Kathy made them promise to have.
