Kevin Burkett Obituary Kevin Burkett 33, of Nampa went to be with the Lord on Sunday the 10th of November, 2024. Kevin was born on August 19, 1991 to Matthew and Donna Burkett at St. Lukes in Boise, Idaho. He was the second of two children and is survived by his sister Vanessa Claywell and his parents Matthew and Donna. He graduated high school from Victory Charter School in Nampa in the year 2010. He immediately went into the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout. He saw tours in South Korea and Afghanastan. His final enlistment was with the 7th division, 3rd Company in Georgia which he helped disband. That was George Custer's company that was wiped out at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. He took a job with Boise School District where he worked Janitorial and Grounds for many years.
