Obituary

Lisa Holland Obituary On Saturday May 1, 2021, the world said goodbye to Lisa Marie Holland, nee: Bloomquist. Lisa was born June 16, 1986, in Nampa, Idaho. She was greeted in Heaven by many, including her father, Darrel, sister, Laurie, and grandparents, and at last meeting Daniels's grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Holland, mother, Judy Bloomquist, brother, Jeff Bloomquist, and twin sister, Amy, and husband Bobby Kennedy, in-laws, Scott, and Beverly Holland, brothers, and sister-in-law, Samuel, Aaron and Kaily Holland. To represent Lisas life in a few paragraphs is not an adequate tribute to the impact she left behind. Lisas passion for business and public service became evident during her undergraduate years at Northwest Nazarene University (NNU). While there, she was a member of the campus entrepreneurial club, and the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) club. After graduating in 2009 with a Business Administration degree, Lisa worked for Delta Dental of Idaho and the Boise Valley Economic Partnership. In 2016, Lisa returned to school at California College of the Arts with a Master of Design Strategy degree. Two years later she began working for the city of Kuna and was named to the Idaho Business Reviews "Accomplished Under 40" list. Lisa loved networking in the community to help others see their dreams become reality. She had a rare passion for the things that the valley needed, which is evident in the outpouring of love the family continues to experience. In 2013, Lisa met the love of her life, Daniel Milo Holland. The friendship quickly developed into a love story. On December 27, 2014, the two were married in Boise, Idaho. Their home was Meridian, Idaho. They were members of Castle Hills Church of the Nazarene, Boise, Idaho. The two loved to travel together, taking trips to the east coast, California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Mexico. She loved exploring the state of Idaho with Daniel, including camping in their travel. In 2020, Lisa and Daniel welcomed Milo Ray on September 7. He made both their dreams come true! A picture-perfect baby that brought a smile to everyone that glanced his direction. Lisas greatest love was being a mom to Milo. Tragically, Milo succumbed to his injuries from the same accident as his mother on May 2, 2021, at St Lukes Childrens Hospital, Boise, Idaho. To know Lisa, was to truly experience genuine happiness, kindness, and friendship. Her love for Jesus was evident as she lived each day. Lisas faith was based on her personal relationship with Jesus, giving her reassurance of everlasting life with Him. If Lisa could share with us now, we know her words would be expressed with joy, encouraging us to make a difference every day we live. Services will be held on Friday, May 14 at 10am at the Brandt Center, NNU campus. Lisa and Milo will find their final resting place at Dry Creek Cemetery. Lisa, every day, every minute, you are missed until we meet again! Services Celebration of Life Friday May 14, 2021 10:00 AM Brandt Center @NNU 623 So. University Blvd. Nampa, Idaho 83686
