Lois Herringshaw Obituary Lois Herringshaw, 93, of Nampa, passed away at her home on May 11, 2024. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. A private inurnment will take place at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise. Lois was born in Alfred, North Dakota on November 11, 1930. After high school, Lois attended Northwest Nazarene College to become a nurse. In 1958, Lois married Norm Herringshaw in Portland, Oregon. Norm was an electrician throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California before relocating to Arizona. In 1974, Norm and Lois moved to Walnut Creek, with their two children Rodney and Barbara. While residing in Walnut Creek, Lois worked for the VA Hospital. Lois is best remembered for her friendliness, generosity, and her love of the Nazarene Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and singing in her church choir, and participating in College Church Grace Notes in Nampa. Lois is survived by a son, Rodney Herringshaw; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and David Fudim; and brothers, Leslie and Donald Renschler. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Anna Renschler; sister, Mary Ann Haig; brother, Gordon Renschler; and husband, Norm Herringshaw. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Renschler Family Endowed Scholarship Fund at Northwest Nazarene University, 623 University Blvd., Nampa, ID 83686.
