Lois Darlene Sumpter, 75, of Nampa, passed away surrounded by family on August 11, 2014. She was born on July 21, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to Bert and Grayce Woolery. She was married to Donald Sumpter on September 27, 1965 in Winterhaven, California. Previously from Hesperia, California, Lois was a nine year resident of Nampa, Idaho. Lois was employed in the banking industry for a number of years and was the manager of security at Pacific Bank in Apple Valley, California. After leaving the banking industry, she opened Desert View Escrow in Hesperia, California, which she owned for 15 years. She was a devoted mother, a wonderful wife, and a very loving grandmother to her granddaughters Samantha and Sarah Grayce. Lois was a member at Bethel Nazarene Church, and is now home with her Savior in Heaven. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Vernon, nephew Nathan Vernon, and infant son Jeffery Ungles. Lois enjoyed card making, traveling in several countries, boating, and RVing. She leaves behind her husband Don of Nampa, Idaho, her daughter Deborah Ungles of Dallas, Texas, her son Grant, daughter-in-law Angie, and granddaughters Samantha & Sarah Grayce of Kuna, Idaho and her brother Ronald Woolery of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 10 AM Friday, August 15, 2014 at Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 3001 12th Ave. Rd., Nampa, Idaho. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. A viewing and visitation will be held at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. S., Nampa, Idaho from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2014.
