Lucia Cardenas Obituary On Friday April 6, 2018 our beloved Lucia Cardenas at the age 82 went to be with the Lord. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Canuto Cardenas, eight daughters, Maria Almaraz, Isabel Almaraz, Juanita Cardenas, Maricella Quintana, Alexandra Buchwitz, Lucy Cardenas, Elena Palacios, and Yolanda Vargas; 21 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 5 siblings. Preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. She loved every type of gardening. From roses to marigolds to house plants, her green thumb never failed her. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, family and friends. Believing in the power of prayer and an unwavering faith, Lucia lived her daily life by her favorite verse Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. A viewing will be held from 6 - 8pm on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Avenue South. A Funeral Service will be held at this same location at 10am on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, with Pastor John Cabello officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Garden, 15862 Indiana Ave Caldwell.
