Lucy Vera Vigil, 81, of Nampa, passed away on September 12, 2016 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Nampa. Lucy was born in Alamosa, Colorado on September 10, 1935. She was one of 13 children born to Esiquiel Martinez and Eulalia Manzanares. Lucy worked as a Nurses aide in Nampa Care facility. She had a special place in her heart for caring for the elderly. Besides spending a lot of quality time with her family and hanging out with her grandchildren, she loved going to Jackpot to play the nickel and penny machines in the casinos. Lucy is survived by her sister Darita; her daughter Diane; and sons Joe, Adrian and Rudy; her 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren whom she will be dearly missed by. Lucy was preceded in death by her daughter Evon and four grandchildren A celebration memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M.
