Lynne Sanduk Obituary If you are reading this, I have left this earthly existence to go home to be with my loved ones who have gone before me. I was born January 24, 1943, in Ogden Utah to Randall and Cleon Petersen and was the oldest of 6 children. I attended school in the Salt Lake and Ogden area. We moved to North Logan my sophomore year and I graduated from South Cache in Hyrum Utah. Went to Utah State where I met and married Gary Wignall in 1961. We had 2 sons named Scott and Gregg, but Gary and I were later divorced. In 1966, I married Richard Jacobsen, and we had 2 sons named Rich and Chris. Richard adopted both Scott and Gregg. We also were later divorced. I married Ken Sanduk in 1984 and in June of 1984 Scott and Gregg were both killed in auto accidents 3 weeks apart. That was a major blow to our family that we still deal with today! I had many jobs throughout the years but in 1986 I started working in a day center for people with disabilities. It was a saving grace for me and I was lucky enough to work my way up to a program director and worked there until I retired in 2011. I worked with many individuals and lots of staff, some who have still remained my friends. I loved to go camping, gardening, quilting, canning, playing cards and hanging out with my kids. I am preceded in death by my sons, Scott and Gregg, Mom, Dad, sister, Kris and brother Bob and many friends and family who have gone home before me. I am survived by my sons, Rich and Chris and daughter-in-law, Tracy; grandchildren, Brandon, Devin, Chelsie, Kylee, Michael, Jaicee, and Kyla. I also have 3 beautiful great granddaughters, Kaylee, Kara, and Evalen; 2 brothers, Doug, Dave and a sister, Karen. A special shout out to my son Rich, who has been there during my illness and treatment. Also, a very special friend, Marti and her husband Rip who were like guardian angels during these times as well. I can't thank Marti enough for her care and persistence throughout some very trying times. From son Rich > Mom, I'm so glad that you moved up to the Boise area in 2011 after your retirement to be near me. We have some good memories but also know you suffered greatly but fought like crazy throughout your illness and injuries since 2014. Though inappropriate to say, one of the doctors at an appointment said it perfectly one day "You're one tough Broad!". We got a chuckle out of it. You are finally at peace now. Love you.
