Mable Ann Borchardt

Mable Ann Borchardt was born in Cheyenne, WY, on September 19, 1939, and passed away on June 30, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burdell Kelly Borchardt; her son-in-law, Stephen Barr; her granddaughter, Brandi; and her grandson, Tyler. She is survived by her children: Cheryl (whose husband Stephen is deceased), Lori (Mike), and Kevin (Tina). She leaves behind nine grandchildren: Leslie (Chris), Ashley, Justin, Riley (Hitaty), Chais, and Maya (with Brandi and Tyler deceased), as well as ten great-grandchildren: Jaiden, Styalez, Millie, Cambrie, Daxton, Cole, Finley, Asher, Kiya, and Esmay. She is also survived by her half-brother, John Roe; her half-sisters, Linda and Merleen (Dennis); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Mable Ann and Burdell loved to travel in their 32-foot motor home, which they affectionately called "the bus." Together, they traveled from the West Coast to the East Coast. Their travels eventually concluded due to Burdell's health, at which point they sold the motorhome and settled back home. They also enjoyed flying, including a trip to Australia to visit family. Mable Ann adored her dog, Luna, who was her precious companion. When her health declined, her niece took over Luna’s care. Burdell and Mable Ann also shared many of their life journeys with their lifelong friends, John and Linda Acarregui. 

She will be deeply missed by us all. May she fly with the angels.
