Mackenzie Romine Obituary Mackenzie Eryn Romine, 21, of Boise, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at a Phoenix, AZ hospital following injuries sustained in an auto accident on August 31, 2024. There will be a viewing and visitation at Rock Harbor Church, 6437 N. Tree Heaven Way, Meridian, ID on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1 PM to 2:45 PM and the Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3 PM at the church. Mackenzie was born on August 26, 2003 in Farmington, MO. She was reared and educated in Boise and graduated from Cole Valley Christian High School in 2022. She loved her years at Cole Valley and she was hoping to some day return to Cole Valley to coach basketball. At the time of her passing she was in her senior year at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Mackenzie was a caring, determined, loyal and driven person. Mac had such a zest for life. She had an infectious laugh with an ability to bring out the best in people. She loved harder than anyone we know. The best part of Mac is how much she loved the Lord which was so evident in how she cared for people. We loved how she lived her life to the fullest, desiring to be the best she could be, but also with such an attractive humility to put others ahead of herself. We dont understand why God allows what He does, we can only take Him at His word that He does work all things for the good of those who love Him. We have heard from so many people how much she inspired them to find a deeper faith. As we look for the "why?" we remain faithful in Gods promises of everlasting life and a peace that surpasses all understanding. God gifted us with such a beautiful soul for 21 years. Through it all, we know our faith and relationship with Jesus has grown stronger because of the example that was left by our sweet, precious daughter Mackenzie.
