Marcel James Levesque passed away peacefully in Nampa, Idaho on August 10, 2015 at the age of 81 after his courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 25, 1934 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Victorien J. Levesque and Margaret Durch Levesque. As a young boy his family moved to Kent, Washington. He graduated from Kent Meridian high school in 1952. He served in the US Army during Korea, returned to Washington where he resided until he moved to Emmett, Idaho in the 1970's. He retired from Boise Cascade with over 30 years of service and was the owner/operator of the Gem Lounge for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Victorian C. Levesque. He is survived by his 2 sisters Jeanne Jokumsen of Enumclaw, WA, Gloria Knutson of Phoenix, AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews.
'Jim' was a kind, generous man who was loved and respected by those who knew him and called him friend. A celebration of his life will be held on September 15, 2015 at 2pm at the Karcher Estates. 2nd floor library, 1127 Caldwell Blvd, Nampa, ID.
