Marcos Duran Obituary Marcos Antonio Duran, 20, Caldwell, was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Meridian, Idaho. Marcos was born on Sept. 29, 2002 in Caldwell, Idaho to Efrain and Melissa Duran. He went to Middleton schools Kindergarten thru 12th Grade and graduated from Middleton High School in 2021. He worked at Kit Home builders for this past year. He also did side jobs for people such as mowing lawns and landscaping. He also worked for the Idaho Cattlemen Association feeding fire fighters. That was a great experience for him. He also loved to hunt, fish and loved camping and four wheeling with family and friends, but his greatest passion was riding his motorcycle. Marcos was one who lived fast and furious. He said the faster he went; his troubles blew away. He loved to be with his family and his two dogs which he loved dearly and took them everywhere he went. Their names were Indigo and Max. One of his passions was to work on cars and he would look on you tube to fix them up the way he liked to improve it. He bought himself an old 1984 Corvette to remodel and was excited to fix it up. Anything Marcos put his mind to, he got done. Marcos was a member of the Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene and a member of the CMA Christian Motorcycle Association. Marcos was kind, hardworking, giving, loving, and helpful to those who were in need and those who were not. He was all the above. You will truly be missed and always loved. Until we meet again. He is survived by his parents, Efrain and Melissa Duran; brothers, Efrain and Luis Duran; sister, Ashley and her husband, Bud Hall; sister Mikayla and her husband, Alisio Cross; grandmothers, Darlene Cross and Josefina Contreras Tovar and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leonard Cross and Elias Duran Medina. The family would like to thank all who stopped and helped at the scene of the accident and to the paramedics who responded. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, at 11:00 am at Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene, 903 N. Michigan Ave. in Caldwell. There will be a viewing and visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Middleton Cemetery at 1:30 pm. There will be a meal served at the church following the graveside service. All are welcome.
