Our feisty Angel and loving Marilyn Dee Roberts was taken home to her Heavenly Father, Tuesday September 16, 2014. This loving blessing we have had in our lives was born October 7th, 1935 in Caldwell, Idaho and she was the 3rd of three children born to Elmer (Bill) E. Myers and Kathryn (Cunningham) Myers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Elmer Myers and Kathryn(Cunningham), her mother and father-in-law, Betty (Rose) and Norwood Roberts, her Sister Elaine and brother-in-law, Paul Leroy Hale, her Sister Joy Kathleen Myers, her sons; Verdon Allen Roberts, Larry Wayne Roberts and daughter-in-law Lori Anne (Nottingham) Roberts.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husban, Larry W Roberts, children, and their spouses; Vicky Lynn Marz and Rocky, James Gregory Whitsitt and wife Ella (Rogstead), Norwood Alvin Roberts, Patricia Anne (Roberts) and husband Jeffery Munson, Carissa Annette (Roberts) and husband Nathan Dean Bledsoe, and Tammy Lynn (Roberts) and husband Theodore Harold Hornstein ; Her grandchildren; Christopher William Marz, Kimberly Chere' (Marz) and husband Jason Blankenshit , William James Whitsitt, Thomas Joseph Whitsitt and wife Allison Carol (Brauneisen), Wendee Jananne Whitsitt, Aaron Tayler Whitsitt and wife Taylor Shelby (Revelle), Destiny LaRaine (Whitebird Roberts) and husband Bradly Combs, Jacob Alvin Munson And wife Soni (Foster), Erik Hjatti Munson, and Nicolas Verdon Munson; Her great-grandchildren Norwood Drake Combs, Alex Scott Zanders, Isabella May Whitsitt.
Her feistiness served her well as she struggled with her physical health most of her life.
She married her High School Sweatheart in 1953 and brought her first two children Vicky and Greg into the world within the next few years. She was in good health during the 19 years she was married to Bill and was able to actively enjoy fishing, camping, motorcycle riding, and digging for old bottles in the deserts of Idaho.
She met and married the love of her life, Larry Roberts and his five children, Norwood, Trish, Carissa, Verdon and Tammy in February 1978.
Again her feistiness would prove valuable taking on five children, the youngest being only 7 when her own two children were grown and independent. Her feisty, loving arms wrapped around us all and we were one big happy family.
She and her devoted husband Larry, enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting differently as her physical abilities got in her way. This was a frustration for her. However we found fun at camp playing cards, laughing to tears a lot of the time.
She also loved keeping a beautiful home, yard and flowers. She loved her animals very much; her dogs, Robby and Luie and Gabby the cat who loved her so much.
Her struggle is over now, she is dancing and running on two strong legs and is smiling down on the family that has been close at hand over these last few years with her feisty loving arms wrapping around them tight.
