Marilyn (Adams) Wudarcki, 78, passed away on October 2, 2026, in Nampa, Idaho, following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Marilyn was born on June 16, 1948, in Wendell, Idaho, to Gordon William Adams and Marine Bernice (Smith) Adams. She was the fourth of seven children. When Marilyn was about three years old, her family moved to Hagerman, Idaho, where she grew up.
Marilyn graduated as salutatorian from Hagerman High School, where she was a cheerleader and an active member of Homemakers of America. After high school, she attended Boise Junior College and later graduated from Boise State College. While at Boise State, she was a member of Golden Z and was recognized in the college's Who's Who for 1969–1970. She later earned her master's degree in Business Education.
Marilyn dedicated much of her life to education. She taught in the Boise School District, at Boise State University, and later at North Idaho College. She also worked at IBM, where she met the true love of her life, Larry Wudarcki. They married in 1993 and shared many wonderful years together.
After Larry retired they moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, where they built their dream home in the mountains. Marilyn treasured the life they created there and the time they spent together and was an active member in the community.
Marilyn was deeply devoted to her faith and was actively involved in the Methodist Church. She served for several years as Secretary of the Pacific Northwest United Methodist Women's Conference and later as President of the Northwest Conference.
Marilyn had many interests and loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with friends, and teaching family members how to water ski. Marilyn also loved to cook for her family and friends and was known to enjoy a nice glass wine. Those who knew Marilyn will remember her intelligence, humor, generosity, and the special way she made the people around her feel loved.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry.
