Marion Wright, 89, died in her sleep Monday evening, February 9, 2015. Marion was born July 23, 1925 in Altrincham, England. She was the 3rd of 10 children born to Margaret and Samuel Walker. Marion graduated from St. Vincent's Catholic School and worked at several jobs before she and her older sister, Joan, worked in an ammunitions factory during World War II. She met William Wright, an American stationed in Altrincham, during the war. During her life, Marion worked for Simplot, Meridian Wood Products, Boise Cascade Homes and Brown Bus Company until she retired. She loved going to the hills with family and friends. Depending on the time of year Marion and her family fished for trout and salmon and hunted for Morel mushrooms, she would listen and count the shots during deer and elk season and cook the liver with onions. Marion babysat grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and loved every minute of it. She enjoyed playing cards, canasta, chase the ace and Uno. Marion supported the lottery and was always hoping for a "big" win. Marion had a special place in her heart for animals of any kind. Marion lived at Grace Assisted Living for the last 18 months and enjoyed the friends she made and appreciated the staff who helped her. Marion is survived by her son Kenneth and his wife, Helen, granddaughters, Deborah Bishop (Kyle), Tammy Wright and Windy Rotarious (Tom), great-grandchildren, Amber Bishop (Ritchie), Jason Bishop, Cassidy Wright and Nichelle Rotarius.
