Mark Dana Bickham
On October 1st, 2026, after a very brief battle with leukemia, Mark Dana Bickham was ushered Home after 76 years of service to his King.
Mark was born on April 13, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri to Alf Draper Bickham and Camille Violet Steuterman Bickham. In 1969 while attending Montana State University Northern in Havre, Montana, the Lord introduced Mark to a lovely young lady named Susie Knowlton. Being too shy to ask her name, he asked her to sign his cast. Soon after, the two were married in Helena, Montana on August 10, 1970. They had two boys, Brian (55) and Bryce (52). After 52 years of marriage, Sue preceded Mark in passing in November of 2022. In July of 2025, Mark was gifted with the love and marriage of a wonderful woman in Camie (Carmel) Uria, whom he wrote “has rescued me from darkness, sorrow and despair”. He is survived by Camie, his two boys Brian and Bryce (Joy), five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his brother Gary (Barb) Bickham, and his newly extended family.
Mark lived a life of integrity, kindness and faith. He defended the defenseless and trained up others to do the same. He led his family and friends to love God and always strived to be a better husband, father, grandfather and friend through an abundance of generosity in both his time and money. He has been blessed with a community of friends and brothers and sisters-in-Christ, of which will now continue with an enormous hole in their lives and hearts. He will be missed beyond words.
Service will be held at Grace Bible Church in Nampa, Idaho on October 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM. All are welcome. Mark would like donations to be made in his honor to any pro-life organization and/or the Wildland Firefighters Foundation in Boise.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
