Marla Kay McCall

Marla Kay McCall, 82, Yelm, WA and formerly of Nampa, pased away peacefully on September 18th at Easthaven Villa in Yelm, Washington. Her passing was a result of complications with Parkinson’s Disease.

In her youth she learned how to play the accordion and then began teaching herself to play the piano. She was a most talented lady; an award winning cook, a great pianist and a dedicated secretary to the churches she attended. Marla was born in Tacoma but spent a greater portion of her young life in California. She married and later moved to Nampa, Idaho. Where many years later she met and married John McCall in December of 1994. Their 30 plus years of marriage was a blessing to both as they were dedicated Christians who served the Lord in service, song and music. Marla was a dedicated friend to those around her and found it easy to say yes when asked to do most anything. She will be missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Franklin Community Church in Nampa at 10:00 AM on October 14th. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery west of Boise at 1:00 PM on the same day.
