Marlene Archuleta

Our beloved Mother and Angel, Marlene Archuleta went home to our Father in Heaven on Oct.15,2012, with all our love surrounding her. Marlene was born to Darwin and Olga Hayes March 18,1939 at home in Nampa. She attended Nampa Schools.

She married Louis Archuleta in Pocatello,ID.She worked at Zilog in Nampa for 18 years. She also worked at Health and Welfare, The Arc and CCOA through the Senior Citizen Program. Marlene loved garage sales, all types of music, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She had a special relationship with every one of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Marlene is survived by her children Monica (Merle), Steven (Rene), Kristin, Nicole, Sam, Alyssa (Jonnie), step children, Louis, Darrell and David, 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren,4 sisters and 2 brothers and several good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Louis. We would like to thank MISTI Nampa, Dr.Fiorentino and St.Lukes Hospice for all their support and kindness. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to St.Judes Childrens Hospital or the charity of your choice.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday October 19th at 2:00 pm at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A private burial will be held in Kohlerlawn Cemetery.

We little knew that morning

God was to call your name.

In life we loved your dearly,

in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.

You left us behind beautiful memories,

your love is still our guide,

and though we cannot see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,

and nothing seems the same.

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.
