Obituary

Mary Louise Hobbs, 60, of Nampa was called Home to her Heavenly Father December 26, 2015. Mary was born in Council, Idaho on May 23, 1955 to Max Martin Hobbs and Lucille Wing Bennett Hobbs. She was the 7th child of 8 children and a blessing to her family. Mary lived in Nampa for many years in a group home run by Ambitions. She loved to play practical jokes on her room mates and staff. Her sense of humor was one of the things we loved about Mary. She was a bright shining star in our lives. Mary's infectious giggle and smile could light up a room. When you met Mary her arms were always open for a hug. With the guidance of a job coach, she was able to work at JoAnn's Fabric and Sizzlers for many years. Mary loved music, movies, playing pool, bowling and puting together puzzles with her roommates and staff. Mary loved life and was always ready to go on a trip with her sisters. Her greatest joy was her nieces, nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her Father, Mother, Brother Steve (Doc), Sisters Sara Mitchell and Linda Dagley. Mary is survived by her brother Richard (Monette Majors) Hobbs; sisters Phyllis Jean (Philip) Hollis, Cheryl Morgan and Kathy (John) Hubbard; 12 Nephews; 8 Nieces; 26 Great Nephews; and 17 great Nieces A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave So.
