Mary "Louise" (Webb) Skow, 86, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at her home in Nampa, Idaho, surrounded by her children. Louise was born April 24, 1929, in Valley, WA, the first child to Harry Russell and Myrtle Clara (Uden) Webb. As a young child she moved often, living in Washington, Oregon, California and eventually Weiser, Idaho, where she graduated from high school. Weiser is where she met and married her husband Robert "Bob" Peter Skow. While living in Weiser they had two children, Ronald Cleve Skow and Krista Lee (Skow) Pfeifer. In 1960 they moved to Parma, Idaho, and several years later had their third child, Kimberly Ann (Skow) Torrence. After 32 years of marriage, Bob passed away in 1978. In 2000, Louise moved to Nampa and called it home for the last 16 years. Following many years as a devoted homemaker, she went to work for Ore-Ida. She worked mostly as a lab tech in Quality Control, but her favorite years were working in Research and Development. After 30 years with Ore-Ida, she retired and was recognized for having one of the best attendance records. Louise took pride in having a beautiful yard, loving to spend endless hours tending to her rose bushes and flowers. Crocheting was another favorite past time, giving the items to family and friends with love. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, her sisters Lou & Edith, her brother Leon, one grandson, and one great-grandson. Survivors include her son Ron (Sherrie) Skow of Genola, UT, daughter Kris (Ken) Pfeifer of Nampa, ID, daughter Kimberly Torrence of San Diego, CA, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a half-sister, Helen Crampton, of California. She was loved dearly and will be missed immensely until we are together again. Services will be held at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm, to be followed by burial at the Parma Cemetery.
