On December 2nd, 2025, Maurene "Molly" Dutton went to be with the Lord. She passed away quietly in her sleep. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and a ray of sunshine to all she met.

Molly is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and David Graves, Shelton, WA., her son and daughter-in-law Don and Kolina Dutton, Nampa, daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Dave Pywell, Nampa, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Molly was born on December 9th, 1943, in Olive Branch, Illinois. Her family lived several places during her childhood, including stays in Illinois, Colorado, California and finally in Murtaugh, Idaho.

It was in Murtaugh she met John Dutton, the love of her life. They were married in June of 1961 and moved to a house on the Howard Brothers Ranch south of Twin Falls, ID where John was employed. Don and Nancy were born over the next few years, and in 1965 the family moved to Rupert, Idaho where the couple lived for the next 38 years. John and Molly worked together for 27 years for the Minidoka School District.

Molly loved homemaking and caring for children. She opened her home as a daycare for several children over their time in Rupert.

Upon retirement, John and Molly moved to Nampa to be near their children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much joy in her retirement years.

A memorial service for Molly is scheduled for 2pm on Thursday, Dec. 11th at Nampa Funeral Home. Viewing is from 1pm to 2pm.
