Maurice Clements passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at his home in Nampa surrounded by family and friends. He was born on August 18, 1934 in Paul, Idaho to Maurice "Pete" and Jetta Clements. Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter Kristin Clements Kuehn. Maurice is survived by siblings Marjorie Robertson, Karen Hoppert (Jon), and Delbert Clements; children Mark Clements (Cathy), Karrie Holm (Chris), Matthew Clements (Linda), Jennifer Freeman (Cody), son in law Mike Kuehn; ex-wives Barbara Craven and Kristin Christensen; 12 grandchildren Mitch (Crystal), Michael (Jazmin), Aaron, Matthew, Patrick, Brandon, Andy, Kaity, Koley, Krissy, Skyler, Charlie Belle and 5 great grandchildren Pennilane, Haze, Korbyn, Ashlin, Deakon. Maurice led an active life filled with passion and many adventures. Maurice graduated from Nampa High School and the University of Idaho. He was involved in agricultural leadership, the Idaho Legislature, real estate, and a lifelong quest to advance the cause of freedom. It matters more how one lives than how one dies and Maurice lived well.
