Maxine Paisley, 87, of Nampa, Idaho and formerly of Wheatland, WY, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at her home in Nampa, Idaho. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Wheatland Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
Maxine was born the second of four children to M.S. and Hazel Rumsey Jordan on November 25, 1924 in Wheatland. After graduating from High School in Lusk in 1944 she went to work in San Diego, CA pressing airplane wings for WWII fighter planes. Upon returning to Lusk, she worked as a waitress and at the local bakery.
She married Garry Douglas Paisley on July 10, 1947 in Wheatland. They had a long and happy life together before Garry passed away on March 3, 2007
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Brenda and Jim Zimmerman of Nampa, Idaho; two grandsons, Cody Zimmerman of Cheyenne, WY and Brad Zimmerman of Meridian, ID; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Wade of Rockspring, GA
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garry; and two sisters, Martha Achrofel and Ellen Bonner.
