Michael Lynn Jeffs, 71, of Nampa Idaho, passed away Wednesday, October 1st, 2014. Michael was born on June 28, 1943 in Rupert Idaho to Ivan and June Jeffs. He graduated from Cypress High School in Magna Utah in 1961. On May 1st 1964 he married Bonnie Olsen in Salt Lake City Utah. Michael and Bonnie had five boys. During his lifetime he supported his family working as a carpenter, a welder and a mechanic as well as retiring after a 27 year career as a supervisor in the refinery at Kennecott Copper Mine in Magna Utah. Some of the hobbies Michael enjoyed were golfing, motorcycles, vintage aircraft and mechanics but his biggest passion was for his hot rod. He spent many weekends enjoying car shows. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and June Jeffs. He is survived by his sons Scott (Lori) Jeffs, Chris (Kendra) Jeffs, Jason Jeffs, Jeremy (Crystal) Jeffs, Troy (Arin) Jeffs and his grandchildren Chantal (Matt) Rodriguez, Marissa (Kevin) Lundergan, Zachariah Corum, Karenna Jeffs, Nicholas Jeffs, Devin Jeffs, Cameron Jeffs, Jordan Batt, Stockton Jeffs and Logan Jeffs and his brothers Ivan (Rulene) Jeffs and Tom (Ethel) Jeffs. A viewing will be held on Saturday October 4th, 2014 from 10:00 12:00 at Nampa Funeral home located at 415 12th Avenue South in Nampa Idaho. A graveside service will be held at1:00 at Star Cemetery at 9350 W. Floating Feather in Star Idaho. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 24760 North Grayhawk Drive, Middleton Idaho
