Mildred 'Hooty' Holmes Obituary Mildred Lorene "Hooty" Holmes died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at her Nampa home. Hooty was born to Gene and Mildred Callen on October 31, 1938, at St. Valentines Hospital in Wendell, Idaho. Hooty married Lee Holmes on October 18, 1974, and they were married just a few months shy of 50 years. She accepted the Lord and Savior on January 31, 1993. After retiring from her job as an office manager, Hooty and Lee put together a six-up hitch of Percherons, and toured the northwestern states for 13 years.
Hooty is survived by her husband, Lee; daughters Ina Jaszkowiak (Tim) and Cass Cook; son Bart Wilson (Anna Mae); grandsons Peter Jaszkowiak (Emma); and Mark Jaszkowiak; and grand-daughter Kindee Kananen (Chaz).
