Norma Garcia Obituary Norma Redstone Garcia, "tootsie" passed away April 13, 2018, age 88. She was born February 23, 1930 in Wolf Point Montana to Norman Redstone and Florence IronStar. She belonged to the Assiniboine-Sioux tribe from Ft. Peck, Montana. She has lived in Idaho most of her life. She worked as a CAN and house keeper at Nampa Care Center many years. She enjoyed going to NACOB for potluck and bingo, yard sales and an occasional trip to jackpot hoping to win the "big one". She enjoyed the local Powwows and looked forward to going home to Montana to Powwows with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her brother James Redstone and Husband Ramino Garcia. She is survived by her Sister Delores Snow of Harlem Montana; Daughter Amber Chaves and children Irene, Andre, Gregory, and Christina of Nampa, Idaho; Son David Garcia and his son Richard. She had several Grand and Great Grand Children and numerous Nieces and Nephews that cared for her dearly. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday April 20, 2018 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A viewing will be held prior to services. She will be returned to Harlem, Montana for Burial Services Monday April 23, 2018. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
