Norma Laumb Obituary Norma Jean Laumb February 25, 1938 January 18, 2022 Norma Laumb, 83 died on January 18, 2022 at home with her family by her side. Norma was born on February 25,1938 to Irma Elizabeth Scholes and Leo Edwin Kentner in Bend, Oregon. Norma met and married Gust J. Laumb on April 6,1959 in Winnemucca, Nevada. They had one boy and three girls. Norma was a homemaker She also worked at Carnation potato factory and the Nampa Fish Hatchery. She loved to go camping and fishing with her life- long friends and children and grandchildren. Norma is survived by her son Rickey Laumb of Portland, Oregon, daughters; JoAnne (Mike) Thiel of Wisconsin, Shelli Spitznogle of Caldwell, Idaho, Trudy Scherf of Nampa, Idaho and a twin sister, Irma Jean of Illinois. Norma had 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gust and her brothers: Ed Kentner and Russ Kentner and a grandson Scotty Laumb.
