Norman Eugene Schell, 85, of Nampa, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 with his family at his side. He was born on August 21, 1931 in Nampa to Mattie and Leonard Schell. He graduated from Nampa High School in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years stationed in Korea. He married VeYonne Martineau on March 29, 1953. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vonnie of Nampa; children Terri and Matt Bunn, Mike and Patty Schell of Nampa, Kay Tomolo of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, Chad and Allicia Tomolo, Logan and Rylan of Las Vegas; Tina and Matt Houchin, Jordan and Mckenzie of South Haven, Michigan; Lisa and Bryan Roth, Aiden and Brianna of Nampa; Shane and Melissa Bunn, Carson and Callen of Nampa; Corey Schell, Eric and Cienna of Nampa; Ryan and Katie Schell, Hailey of Nampa; brother Charles and Sandy Schell and sister Hazel Tomer of Nampa; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Ken Tomolo, and in-laws Ve and Velma Martineau. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Pauls School Building Fund c/o St. Pauls Church or First Choice Hospice.
