Oralia Contreras Cerda (Magallon) was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 1st, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born with a compassionate heart and a resilient spirit, Oralia devoted her life to her family and to her faith. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her kindness, and her strength — qualities that touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her four daughters: Cecilia Cerda Almeida, Belinda Cerda Hernandez, and Rosaelia Cerda Soto — daughters she shared with her first husband, Gregorio Jose Cerda, with whom she was blessed to share 15 beautiful years of marriage — and Lorena Magallon Chavez, her youngest daughter from her second marriage to Jose Magallon Balderas.

Oralia's greatest joy was her family. She was blessed with 14 cherished grandchildren — Benjamin Almeida, Crystal Almeida, Byanka Cerda, Jose Hernandez, Omar Hernandez, Monique Carrillo, Jorge Carrillo, Cesar Cerda, Mia Soto, Vanessa Chavez, Lexani Chavez, Esai Chavez, Elianna Chavez, and Isabelle Sorto — each of whom brought light and laughter into her life. Her love for them was endless, and she took great pride in watching them grow.

Those who knew Oralia will forever remember her gentle smile, her warm hospitality, and her deep devotion to those she loved. She faced life's challenges with grace and faith, always finding strength in prayer and in the Lord.

Her legacy of love, perseverance, and compassion will live on through her daughters, grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to her family and friends.
