Pastor Bill Russell Obituary Pastor Bill Russell, 91, of Nampa, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at his home in Nampa. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Hilltop Cemetery in Nyssa, OR. There will be a viewing and visitation at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. on Wednesday evening, Feb. 2, 2022 from 6 7 P.M. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at 11 AM at the Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 3001 12th Ave. Rd. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. 208-442-8171 where an online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com Bill Russell was born on April 23, 1930 in Bend, Oregon where he lived for 25 years. He and his wife, Connie were converted to Jesus Christ at the age of 29 and were called into full time Christian ministry at the age of 30. Bill enrolled at NNC in 1966 and was ordained in 1970. He and Connie ministered on both the Oregon Pacific and the Intermountain Districts in the Church of the Nazarene. Christ became everything to Bill and Connie and they were truly partners in ministry. Bill and Connie had four daughters, Colleen, Rhonda, Tammy and Carla and a son, Ricky who drowned at the age of 11 in the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon. Bill is survived by his wife, Connie Russell, Nampa; their four daughters including Rhondas husband, Larry Davis who was like a son to Bill, plus many family members whom he loved and prayed for. Bill and Connie both praise God for their many friends in the many churches they were involved in and for Gods Amazing Grace. Our sincere thanks to all of you!!!
