All who she loved deeply, as well as five children, Juanon, Robert, Gilbert (Maribel), Lucinda (Tony), and Stevie (Aimee) Bernal, 19 grandchildren: Johnny, Xantie, Adri, Gabby, Amaya, Andre, Tito, Jake, Analise, Ruthie, Elias, Alex, Annabelle, Jaysen, Sami, Ezavier, Joesph, Jovan, and Rudy, 17 great grandchildren, and many grand-dogs.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father Jesse Salas, sister Marina (Nina) Ybarra, two grandsons; Johnny and Elias Bernal, and a great grandson Elijah Garcia, along with various other family members.

Patty was a wonderful, sweet, loving, outgoing, hardworking woman. Not only was she a proud mother/grandmother she was also a very loving daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, coworker, and friend to many — her love definitely had an impact on everyone around. Patty grew up in Nampa, Idaho.

She loved doing things such as spending time with family, gardening/yard work, traveling to places like New York, Montana, and Texas, and watching her children/grandchildren play sports (especially baseball). Patricia was a very comforting soul and her love for food definitely reflected her love for those around her from homemade tortillas and an omelette with red chili to her all-time favorite grilled chicken wings with rice and pico. Patricia was the life of the party — she had the perfect smile and best laugh! She loved to go to a variety of concerts. She also loved to dance from her koconut days with her sisters to just around the house with her grandchildren and great grandchildren! On more relaxed days, Patty loved to stay in with a cup of black coffee and would relax watching stuff like; little house on the prairie, in the kitchen with David with her son Robert, the price is right, any TLC shows and the news.

At around 30 years old Patty had made her way into to the Machinery supply industry as a sales representative for Idaho machinery, Eclipse Tool and Supply, Gossiger and Aronson-Campbell Industrial Supply to name a few. Not only was she in the industry for 35+ years she was an absolute dedicated worker! Patty rarely missed work, she was always the first one there even during the bad winter months.

Patricia “Patty” Ann Salas wasn’t just anyone, she was someone who shed light where there was none. It didn’t matter if you were down and bad or up and good she made sure to let you know you were loved, cared for, and thought of. A wonderful woman who fought a hard battle of cancer and O.M.S. Though she couldn’t fight longer, the lord knew her family in heaven was calling and that she is now resting in harmony. We love you so much and will miss you dearly — your family.
