Patricia Stephens Obituary Patricia Stephens (Pat), 88, of Nampa passed away on April 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. At her request, no services will be held. A private family celebration of her incredible life will be held at a later date. Pat was born on April 12, 1937, in Nampa, ID, to John (Fritz) Wissell and Doris (Welker) Wissell. She was raised in Nampa and attended schools at St. Paul's, Central Jr. High and Nampa High School. She graduated in 1955. She had two sisters Coralee Ann Lind (Wissell) and Dorthy Marie (Dotti) Williams (Wissell). In 1956 she married Jack Brooks. They welcomed two boys Darcy Jay and David Patrick. They were divorced in 1959. She then married J.D. Stephens in 1962. They welcomed two girls, Jeanne LeAnn (Stephens) Morrison and Susan JoAnn (Stephens) Morrison and a son Shea Stephens. She was a homemaker while her children were growing up making homemade bread and chocolate cake. Pat and J.D raised their children in King Hill and Nampa; ID. Pat worked at IDADIV Credit Union for 18 years and retired in 2002. She is survived by her 6 children Darcy Jay Stephens, David Patrick Stephens, Renee Cummings, Jeanne LeAnn (Stephens) Morrison, Susan JoAnn (Stephens) Morrison and Shea Stephens. Pat was a grandmother and great grandmother. She had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved her dearly and showed their love to her always. And she adored them all. Pat was as good as you get. She was strong, kind, smart, generous, funny, and always had a positive attitude. Her cup was always full. She will be missed more than words can say. Her smile, her laugh, her good advice, and her unconditional love. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Doris Wissell, her sister Coralee Lind and both of her husbands, Jack Brooks and J.D. Stephens.
