Paul Pline Obituary Paul E. Pline, 91, of Melba, Idaho passed away on August 7, 2024, at his home in Melba. He was born on May 8, 1933, in Nampa, Idaho to John Clinton and Marlys Helen Hartzell Pline.
Paul grew up in the Nampa area, where his family farmed. He attended the University of Idaho until he joined the Army, serving from 1953 to 1955. Paul then attended The College of Idaho. Paul farmed below Melba in 1955 until moving to the current Melba home site in October 1956, where he continued to farm the land for his remaining years. Paul was a lifelong farmer through and through.
He served his community in the Legion Color Guard and Melba Volunteer Fire Department. He was also President of the Farm Bureau and a member of the Elks Lodge. Paul enjoyed his daily coffee trips where he never met a stranger, and he always offered a shot of whiskey to anyone at his kitchen table.
Paul is survived by his wife Alice; His five children Jeff, Roni, Jeri, Steven, Suzanne and three children Alice brought into the family Debbie, Mark and Kara. Together they have numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Melba Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel where an online guest book and full obituary is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com
