Paula Delarosa Hernandez was born February 15, 1925, in Rio Escondido, Coahuila, Mexico, to Santos and Maria de Refugio Delarosa. She had three sisters, three half-sisters and three half-brothers.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, at Nampa Funeral Home-Yraguen Chapel with Deacon Jose Luis Granados officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Nampa, with Father German Osorio, Parochial Vicar, as celebrant. Burial services will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery.

Paula was raised and educated in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. Paula married her loving husband of 44 years, Victoriano Santos Hernandez, on January 9, 1952, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. During their blessed marriage they had eight children, Anita, Jose Luis, Victoriano, Jr., Maria, Ezequiel, Betty, Raul, and Johnny Hernandez, 41 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Paula and Santos moved to Idaho in 1972 and made their home in Nampa. Paula was a housewife providing for her family. She enjoyed the many family gatherings with her loved ones. She was a kind hearted mother and grandmother. She bestowed many family values to all her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the time she spent with her senior citizens friends. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones and her many friends. She was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church for 40 years. She was active in her Church serving as a volunteer, lecturer, singing in the choir, and other activities.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Victoriano Santos Hernandez, her sons, Jose Luis Hernandez and Raul Hernandez, three grandchildren, and two sisters.
