Peggy J. Richardson left this world and into the arms of her Heavenly Father on May 30, 2014. Born August 5, 1927 to Ern & June Wolf at Gaylord, KS, Peggy was the third of four children. She moved with her family to Loveland, CO in April 1936 and then to Meridian, ID in the summer of 1943. She graduated from Meridian High in 1944. On March 2, 1951 Peggy married Bob Richardson and together they had 4 sons. They spent over 55 happy years together living in Nampa the entire time. Peggy loved being a wife and mother and always put her family first. She loved having the grandkids around and at almost any given time you could find some of them at her house. Peggy was an avid bowler and loved a game of pinochle, which she often played with friends and family. Bethel Church of the Nazarene was a "second home" to Peggy for over 40 years. She was an active member holding many positions in the church, which included board member, choir member, and proactive supporter of world missions. She was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by Nazarene Missions International on June 5, 2005. Her brother Marvin, parents, husband, sister Pat, and her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne & Pearl Wolf, preceded Peggy in death. Memory keepers include her 4 sons, Rod (Kathy), Rex (Lollie), Larry (Kathleen), and Ted (Kathy) all of Nampa (yes, that really is 3 Kathy/Kathleen Richardsons!), 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many caregivers and Leah from Grace Assisted Living, Nampa; Grace Memory Care, Meridian; and most recently Kindred Nursing and Rehab in Nampa for their loving care of our mother. A viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A funeral service to celebrate Peggys life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 3001 12th Ave. Rd., Nampa. Burial will follow in the Meridian Cemetery. An online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com
