Phil Sheets, age 84 of Caldwell passed away on Sunday December 12, 2010 at St. Als hospital in Boise of natural causes. Graveside services will be held at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell on Thursday December 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Phil was born October 28, 1926 in Huston, Idaho. He married Wanda Moore on June 24, 1951. He retired from J.R. Simplots after 42 years of dedicated service as an electrician at the Caldwell plant in September 1992. He loved his family and friends and his pets. He loved his family and friends and his pets. He loved to hunt and fish and camp. He also loved to spend time with his son building model airplanes and taking them out to see if they would fly.

He is survived by his daughters Carma Caward of Nampa, Paula Arent and her husband Tim Arent of Melba and his son Keith Sheets of Caldwell and a sister Olive Brakey of California, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grand children, 3 dogs and 2 cats.

He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Sheets, daughter Ila Sheets and his father John F. Sheets and his mother Stella Marie Dome and a brother Walter Sheets.
