Ralph Perry, 76, of Nampa, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born on August 13, 1934 in Oakland, California to Ralph and Julia Perry. He was raised and educated in Oakland, graduating from Oakland High School in 1952. He worked for several years around the Oakland area in the appliance repair business and eventually ended up in Idaho and opened his own business, Perrys Appliance Service in Nampa. Most recently Ralph drove school bus for the Kuna School District which he enjoyed very much.
On November 19, 1983, he married JoEllen Binko in Reno, Nevada and they enjoyed 27 happy years together.
He was a 37 year member of the Nampa Elks Lodge and was the Elk of the Year in 1988.
He is survived by his wife, Jo of Nampa; two daughters, Pamela Melone of Nampa and Tammy Baker of Boise; his three grandchildren, Mitchell, Jason and Frankie; two sisters, Donna (Cliff) Louaillier of Sparks, NV and Pat Moore of Laurel, MT; The Meredith family, Fred and Caroline and their children, nephews, Ralph, Freddie and Derek and niece Sissy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Geri, Joan and Toni.
At his request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
