Ralph Alex Pirnie, 90 of Nampa, Id. Passed away 01) Tue. June 25, 2013 of natural causes while at the Sunny Ridge Nursing Home. He was born to George and Agnes Pirnie on June 28 1922, being one of eleven children, all who were raised in Nebraska. In the early forties he moved to Nampa Id. working at odd jobs as he could find them finely working for J. R. Simplot Co in Caldwell, during which he met an married Aldene L. Mattox of Nampa. Dad and mom enjoyed 61 years together working side by side, while raising their two sons. A few years after Aldene's passing he met up with his childhood sweetheart, Norma Curtis from Broken Bow Nebraska, which allowed them to have a long distance friendship. The time that they could spend together brought him hours of joy and when apart, he looked forward to the daily phone calls. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends, as well as raising horses, which he used to pack in the wild game he hunted. You always knew he was happy when he was doing what he loved, by the look on his face. He has been preceded in death by his wife, Aldene and one sister and one brother. Ralph is survived by his two sons and wife's, Richard Keith Pirnie/ Judy Pirnie and Arnold Alex Pirnie/Caroline Pirnie of Nampa. Plus eight grandsons and one granddaughter, along with several great grandchildren. Reception following gravesite services at Arnold's house, 16763 Portner, Nampa.
