Ramiro "Ray" Garcia, also known as "Bosito" to close family and friends, passed at the age of 84, on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at a Caldwell care center. Vigil services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.

He was born on January 17, 1927 at McAllin, Texas to Guadalupe Garcia and Aurora Hernandez being one of five children. Although he only finished the third grade, he went on to work for the railroad and owned many local business and was very active in the community and surrounding areas.

He married Norma Redstone in 1954, sharing 57 beautiful years together. He was also blessed with five children.

Bosito adored his family and has shared many memorable moments with Richard Bigby-Garcia, Karina Benavides, Lucero and Hanani Colin, Estella Bigby-Garcia and his grandchildren who has touched his heart very deeply.

He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his wife, Norma; his daughters, Martiana and Anna, both of Texas; and many other distant family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three hermanas and one hermano; a son, Ramiro, Jr. and a daughter, Gracie
