Ramona Belle Jones, 72, of Nampa was born June 7, 1943. She passed away Feb. 14, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospital after many years of continued health problems. Ramona was preceded in death by her husband David Jones of 53 years. She is survived by her son Jeff Jones; daughter Jenny Jones; and two brothers Buzz Hastriter and Gaylord Coyle; her 3 grandkids Alec, Kyle and Cooper Jones, who were the highlight of her life; as well as many lifelong friends that will miss her greatly. All who knew her loved her. Ramona was a Cosmetologist for 25 years, but her greatest passion was being an Artist studying art in local and national workshops also while being involved with local art groups. Ramona has received many awards for her impressionistic watercolors. Her art is in many private, public and corporate collections. She was known for her talent and creativity. She has not only been a loving mother to us, but shown us how to never give up. She was the strongest women I have ever met. Nothing was going to set her back. She gave her 100% in everything she did. A celebration of Ramonas life will be held at 6:00 PM Friday Feb. 19, 2016 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A private burial will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise.
