Obituary

Randy Les Fritzemeier of Meridian Idaho, on January 4, 2017, Randy went home to be with the Lord. Randy was born June 1, 1959, in Cody, Wyoming, he was the second of five children born to Ronald and Thais Fritzemeier. The Fritzemeier family moved to California, where Randy spent his childhood. He attended Camino Union Elementary School, El Dorado High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pollock Pines. He had a love for music and drama and was very active in his high school theater and church choir. After graduation Randy attended Montana Institute of the Bible. He had a love for learning and developed lifelong friendships. He was given the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Japan where he taught English. He was known among many there as the "Gentle Giant". Randy loved cooking and Japanese food became a favorite for him. His love for Japan and heart for them remained with him for the rest of his life. In 1995 Randys very dear friend Patrick Blewett invited him to visit his family in Boise, Idaho. After rededicating his life to the Lord, Randy became active in his church group where he met and fell in love with Kathy Henry. Randy and Kathy were married on October 5, 1996. On January 20, 2000, Randy and Kathy welcomed their twin boys Allen and Branden. Randy was a proud father and the boys were the joy of his life. In later years Randys illness prohibited him from some the daily activities of parenting. He loved watching his boys grow and sharing the details of the boys accomplishments. One of the last outings Randy attended was Brandens football game. Randy is survived by His wife Kathy, his sons Allen and Branden, his parents Ronald and Thais Fritzemeier, three brothers Rick (Marian) Fritzemeier, Ronald (Debbie) Fritzemeier, Rob Fritzemeier and sister Tammy (Dan) Balos, numerous nieces ,nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial service January 28, 2017, at 3:30 in the afternoon, Central Valley Baptist Church 600 N Ten Mile Road Meridian, ID 83642. Memorial contributions can be made to the Meridian Food Bank 133 W Broadway Ave. Meridian, ID 83642.
