Rickey Bobo Obituary Rickey Lee "Rick" Bobo, 61, of Nampa, died May 5, 2021 in a Boise hospital. Rick was born March 8, 1960 to Jack and Ethel (Parsons) Bobo in Nampa, ID where he attended school and graduated with the class of 1978. He worked alongside his dad and brothers in the family masonry business for many years and was a great brick layer. In 1980 he married and later divorced Jamie Sparks. During that marriage, their daughter Samantha was born. Rick took pride in a lot of things, but nothing topped the pride he has for being a single father. He and Sami always had a close relationship and she often bragged about having "the best dad ever!" In his spare time, Rick loved to ride motorcycles, camp with his friends, and spend time with his family, especially his grandsons. Rick was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Ethel, and his brother Randy. He is survived by his daughter Samantha and her husband Jose (Nuno) Vasquez; 3 grandsons Mikah, Mason and Dax; his brothers Larry (Jan) and Russ Bobo; his sister Jackie (Dave) Mayo; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rick was a great father, brother, son, and friend and will truly be missed. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Meridian Cemetery.
