Rita M (Christopher) Teal Rita M (Christopher) Teal, 88, of Nampa, Idaho passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 22, 2013. Rita is survived by her sons Michael (Tanni) of Suffolk VA and Jeffrey (Nancy) Teal of Auburn CA; daughters Nannette Teal of Lincoln CA, Colleen Massengale of Sacramento CA. and Monique (Ron) Vaughn of Nampa ID.; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and many other family friends who dearly loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband Eldon W Teal Jr. and daughters Holly Marler and Tamara Teal. Rita was born in September 23, 1925 in Pittsfield, MA. In 1954 she married Eldon (Al) and raised their family throughout Europe and the United States as a military wife. Retired in 1975, Rita lived in North Highlands, CA. with her large extended family until moving with her youngest Monique and family to Nampa ID in 2005. With her vibrant smile and twinkle in her eye, she had a passion for life. An avid reader and expert board games player, she often fondly recalled her bowling days with the Camellia girls. All who love her will miss her terribly. There will be a rosary/viewing at 11 am on Friday, November 29, 2013 at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in North Highlands, CA. followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery off Highway 80 and Greenback Lane.
