They later moved to Caldwell Idaho, where he worked for Lennox as a technician as well as being involved in the Air National Guard 1959-1965. He later served in the local Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years, which gave him opportunity to be out on his boat. He enjoyed fishing as his main entertainment, as well as multiple hobbies through the years such as stained glass, lapidary, silver smithing, growing orchids, and woodworking. He later left the heating business and started his own business (Beverlin Sharpening) as a tool sharpener, which kept him busy through recent years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Rudy Beverlin. He is survived by his wife, two children, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
