Bob was born on October 19, 1942, to Emilio & Josephine Lozano in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was from a family of seven siblings. All of his early schooling took place in and around Cheyenne. He was in the first graduating class from Cheyenne East High School in 1961. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Washington, Oregon and eventually settled in Boise, Idaho. He lived there until 1964, when he joined the Marine Corps. He served for three years in Vietnam. He was a Purple Heart recipient. In Idaho, he went through many different sales jobs, from retail to becoming a grain and commodities trader until his retirement. He enjoyed music and was very active throughout his life in Barbershop, directing Sweet Adelines and several church choirs.
From his first marriage, he had two children, Robert Jr. and Amanda. Of these two, he had eight grandchildren, and, recently, one great-grandchild. He joined St. Paul's Church in Nampa, ID and was very active in a variety of church organizations. Later in life, he met Barbara Korn at church. After a long-term relationship and a move to Arizona, he and Barbara were married in Casa Grande, AZ on January 11, 2019. Due to health issues and better access to health care, they moved from Casa Grande to Surprise AZ in July of 2022. During these later years, Bob enjoyed golfing and time with friends and family.
