Obituary

Robert "Rob" Carbray, age 45, passed away November 9, 2013 at his home in Nampa, Idaho. He was born in New London, Connecticut on April 26, 1968 to Sheila Carbray and the late Robert Carbray. Rob graduated from Ledyard High School in 1986 where he excelled in track and cross country. He successfully hiked the entire Appalachian Trail and loved spending time outdoors hiking and mountain biking. In December of 2012, Rob received his nursing degree with honors from Boise State University and was employed as an ER nurse at St. Lukes Hospital in Boise. Above all, he cherished spending quality time with his children, Charly Ann and Christopher. They were the two loves of his life. Rob will be remembered for his contagious smile, his sense of humor, and his charismatic personality. Rob is survived by his mother, Sheila Carbray of Ledyard, Connecticut; two children, Charly and Chris Carbray of Nampa, Idaho; his sister Michelle (Brian, Haley, Logan) Hinton of Ledyard, Connecticut; his brother Kevin (Tanya, Owen, Andrew, Ethan) Carbray of Franklin, Connecticut; and many relatives and countless friends. The family will greet family and friends at a viewing and visitation from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday November 13, 2013 followed by a celebration of life service at 7:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
