Robert H. MacDonald, 59, of Nampa, joined our Father in Heaven on July 8, 2015. Robert was born to Robert G. MacDonald and Sharon S. MacDonald on July 4, 1956, in Riverside, California. He and his family relocated to Nampa in 1972. Robert attended Nampa High School, and graduated in 1974. After graduation, he worked as a forklift driver for Western Idaho Potato, and then attended Boise State University, where he earned an Associates Degree in Computer Science. Robert then used his education to start his own business building computers. He married his wife, Joline Wright MacDonald, on February 2, 1984, in Elko, Nevada. Robert enjoyed playing the accordion and organ, and liked to fish and camp with his family. He also enjoyed video games, and constantly tinkered with computers. He will be remembered for his wit, sense of humor, and infectious laugh. Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Fern Torkelson, and his aunt, Linda Torkelson. His mother, Sharon, left us several hours after Robert to join him in Heaven. He is survived by his wife; Joline MacDonald, his father; Robert G. MacDonald, and his younger brother; William W. MacDonald. He has two nephews, William H. MacDonald and Scott G. MacDonald, and one niece, Linda S. MacDonald. He also has three great nephews and one great niece from William H. and his wife, Holly MacDonald. A viewing will be held at the Nampa Funeral Home, 415 12th Ave. South, Nampa, from 11:00 AM to Noon on July 13, 2015.
