Robert "Bob" Lyle Rodwell, age 81 of Bellevue, Washington passed quietly surrounded by his family on April 8, 2014. Bob was born to the late Dr. Robert and Lois Rodwell in Nebraska, August 9, 1932. Bob grew up in Nampa, Idaho where he graduated from Nampa High School. He briefly attended Boise State before entering the Air Force. He married his high school sweetheart, Sally Robb and was married for 58 years. Bob and Sally moved to Seattle, Washington in 1953 where he graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked at various companies throughout his career. As a small business consultant at Washington State University he developed a program to assist the unemployed start their own business and guided them towards success. Helping people was, by far, one of his most rewarding endeavor and proudest accomplishment. He was a devoted brother, husband, uncle, friend and companion. He was a very loving and proud father and grandfather. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Sally, February 20, 2009 Bob is survived by his children Dain(Yvonne Brutger), Katy Wada(Marshall); sister Bonnie Struthers; granddaughters Jessica Wada(Scott Hackenberg), Rebecca Rodwell Wada- Currier(Matthew); bother in law, Gary Robb and sister in law, Pat Robb; nieces, Anne Stotler, Kim Robb, Rhonda Robb and nephew, Mike Robb; step granddaughters Becca and Kristi Hammargren. He is also survived by his loving companion TJ. Sullock and their dog, Archie. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am.
