Sandra Jean Stansell, 67, of Nampa, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at a Nampa hospital. Sandra was born on August 20, 1948 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Carl and Betty Humm Putzier. She was raised and educated in Twin Falls graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1966. She continued her education by receiving her LPN license from ISU and later her RN license from BSU. Sandra worked as an RN for Mercy Medical Center in Nampa for several years. She married Glen Stansell in June of 1975 and they raised two sons together. She is survived by her two sons, Troy (Amelia) Stansell and Nathan (Evelin) Stansell; four grandchildren, Amelia Grace, Betty Ann, Kristin Sandra and Martin Harry Stansell; two brothers, Robert (Rebecca) Putzier and Fred (Benita) Putzier; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; her parents, Carl and Betty; and a brother John, A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 404 Nectarine St., Nampa. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
